SiN-EV annual meeting will be held at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana on Tuesday, September 17th 2024.
Two distinguished lecturers already confirmed their attendance:
– Clotilde Théry, Research Director at INSERM from the Curie Institute in Paris, France, is a co-founder of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV) and the Journal of Extracellular Vesicles (JEV). She has also served as the president of ISEV and co-authored the Minimal Information for Studies of Extracellular Vesicles (MISEV). Her work focuses on the research of extracellular vesicles in the context of immune response and cancer, where she is recognized as a leading researcher.
– Christian Neri, Research Director at INSERM from the Sorbonne Université in Paris, France, is the president of the French Society for Extracellular Vesicles (FSEV) and the leader of the initiative “ISEV Special Interest Group on EVs in Nervous System” (SIG EViNS). He is a leading expert in the field of ageing in relation to neurodegenerative diseases, such as Huntington’s disease, and the role of extracellular vesicles in this process.
There will also be ample opportunities for members of SiN-EV to present their research.
